Hanging out at the Atlanta Microsoft offices today for their annual minority day they coin B@M (Blacks at Microsoft).
I look forward to this event every year, and I’m thankful that I get the opportunity to take a few of our Studio students as a chaperone. Microsoft does a great job hosting and developing interest and encouragement for students in the tech field.

This year students played with several devices and learned how much of the tech talks to each other. Although we use Google for most of our needs, I must admit that I’m impressed with MS’s functionality across platforms. My favorite event students get to participate in is the app and game programming using MS simple basic.

I’ve been taking students here the last three years and they always seem to walk away impressed and on fire for trying new ideas in their projects. I’m anxious to see what results from this year’s trip!
