So this is exciting.
On May 17th of next year, I’ll be presenting with two fellow doctorate students (Kim Foster and Nick Thompson) about how experiences in our doctoral program has (re)shaped our teaching practices and philosophies. We were encouraged by Dr. Ryan Rish this summer to pitch the idea to Global Conversations in Doctoral Preparation (GCDP). I am glad we did. While the presentation itself is several months away, I am thrilled to be part of presenting how a program like the one at Kennesaw State University can develop seismic shifts in a teacher’s thinking and practice.
Clearly, the online presentation is a long way off, but in the meantime, you can read about it here. Next year as we get closer, I’ll certainly be reminding people.
